This session will lift up the imporatance of group work, how it strengthens SEL skills and tools to ensure success. Participants will walk away with strategies to explicitly teach students how to use SEL skills when participating in group work.

Ms. Foy has taught grades 4th through 10th across the county. She has been a reading specialist in Hampton City Schools since 2019. Currently, she is supporting Tier 2 instruction in middle school. She loved using projects as assessments and group work in her English classes.
